ICWS 2018 Registration

For a participant who pays a full registration, he/she can:

  • obtain a copy of ICBC 2018 Proceedings if the registration is for ICBC 2018;

  • obtain a copy of ICWS 2018 Proceedings if the registration is for ICWS 2018;

  • obtain a copy of CLOUD 2018 Proceedings if the registration is for CLOUD 2018;

  • obtain a copy of EDGE 2018 Proceedings if the registration is for EDGE 2018;

  • obtain a copy of AIMS 2018 Proceedings if the registration is for AIMS 2018;

  • obtain a copy of BigDataCongress 2018 Proceedings if the registration is for BigDataCongress 2018;

  • obtain a copy of SERVICES 2018 Proceedings if the registration is for other events of SERVICES 2018;

  • obtain a copy of ICIOT 2018 Proceedings if the registration is for other events of ICIOT 2018;

  • obtain a copy of ICCC 2018 Proceedings if the registration is for other events of ICCC 2018;

  • obtain a copy of SCC 2018 Proceedings if the registration is for other events of SCC 2018;

  • participate in all sessions in all Ten co-located conferences ((ICWS 2018, CLOUD 2018, AIMS 2018, BigDataCongress 2018, ICIOT 2018, ICCC 2018, SCC 2018, EDGE 2018, ICBC 2018 and SERVICES 2018);

  • participate in all events including: keynotes, panels, tutorials, workshops, Ph.D symposium, Global Cloud Industry Summit, Services Education Workshop, SERVICES Cup, and Innovation Show Cases;

  • obtain one banquet ticket

Each accepted paper REQUIRES at least one FULL registration, before the camera-ready manuscript can be included in the proceedings. There is NO student rate for the author who is responsible for registration for his/her published paper. If you have more than one accepted paper, you have to register for each one individually. There is no discount if you have two or more papers accepted.It is encouraged to have your co-authors to register and attend the conferences.

Attention: If you have financial difficulty to make payments for more than one accepted paper in ALL member conferences of SCF 2018 (ICWS/SCC/CLOUD/SERVICES/AIMS/BigData Congress/ICCC/EDGE/ICIOT/ICBC), please contact us at confs@ServicesSociety.org to get waived registration fees for additional paper(s).

If you are looking for a visa letter for attending ICWS 2018, SCC 2018, CLOUD 2018, AIMS 2018, BigDataCongress 2018, SERVICES 2018, EDGE 2018, ICBC 2018, ICCC 2018, ICIOT 2018, please following the 2018 Conference Visa Letter Request Process.

Please follow the following procedure to register:

Go online to ICWS 2018 Online Registration System. After logging in, the online system allows you to select from two options:

  • online PayPal method: This method is powered by PayPal and you will be re-directed to PayPal (Pay directly from your PayPal balance or linked bank account. Or charge it to your credit card (Visa card, Master card, Discover card, American Express card)) to complete your registration process.

  • offline payment method: This method will allow you to print out the registration form from the online registration system, choose from check or credit card payment option, and then fax/mail/email the signed registration form, which will be manually handled by PayPal's credit card processing system. (PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU PRINT ALL INFORMATION CLEARLY TO AVOID PROCESSING DELAY.)

  • There will be no wire transfer option.

  • If you decide to send in a check, please make sure that it is payable to "SERVICES SOCIETY" with annotation as "ICWS 2018", "CLOUD 2018", "SCC 2018", "SERVICES 2018", "AIMS 2018", "EDGE 2018", "ICCC 2018","ICIOT 2018", "ICBC 2018", or "BigData Congress 2018", to match your registration option.

  • Please send an email to confs@servicessociety.org to get mailing address. Before you send in your check, please email to us a scanned copy of your check for speeding up the process.

The registration process is explained as follows:

The 2018 online registration process includes 3 major steps:

Step1 (Authors only): This step supports author registration for:

  • Research Track Papers

  • Application Track Papers

  • Short Paper Track Papers

Note: If you are an author who is responsible for your paper's registration, you should start from this step to register your paper. If not (non-author participant), please go directly to Step2.

Step2 (Regular Participants only): This step supports non-author participant registration.

Step3 (For both authors and participants): This step supports registration to:

  • Services University Summer School (including Tutorials)

  • Innovation Show Case

  • Extra Proceedings, and

  • Extra Banquet ticket.

Information about PayPal Payment , PayPal provides the most popular online payment system. PayPal allows individual customer to send money or collect money online without any transaction fee.

A participant who is new to PayPal is not required to create a PayPal account to complete the registration. You can go through an alternate checkout, and have the option to sign up afterwards. Please SELECT "No shipping required (online download, payment for a service, etc.)" when you provide your billing information on the shipping page.

A participant who already has PayPal accounts can continue to enjoy the privileges of the accounts, such as payment history and integration with eBay Auctions, with the same checkout experience. You can get a FREE PayPal account at any time.

You can use eCheck via PayPal.

Cancellations and Substitutions

Cancellations and substitutions are allowed. However, full registration fees will be charged unless a cancellation notice is sent in writing, and received or faxed on or before June 1st, 2018 to the registration chair. All the registrations for published papers in the Proceedings cannot be cancelled.

A $150 handling fee will be applied to all cancelled registrations. Fees cannot be refunded for registrations cancelled after the deadline (06/01/2018). No-shows will be billed. Registration transfer is allowed. A letter on your company's letterhead is required from the original registrant stating the conditions of the substitution and the name of the replacement.

Conference Visa Letter Request Process

SCF 2018's guidelines for providing visa letters are as follows:

Visa letters will only be issued to

  • Authors/Speakers/Presenters/Organizing Committee members

  • Attendees who have paid their registration fees in full and are not from one of the countries embargoed by the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control

Visa letters will state only the facts

  • Conference title, dates and location

  • That the requester has paid the required registration fee in full (Verify that the credit card clears before providing letter).

  • If he/she is either a committee member, speaker, or presenter

About the Services Society

The Services Society (S2) is a non-profit professional organization that has been created to promote worldwide research and technical collaboration in services innovations among academia and industrial professionals. Its members are volunteers from industry and academia with common interests. S2 is registered in the USA as a "501(c) organization", which means that it is an American tax-exempt nonprofit organization.
